It is the vocation of EMPIRE TIMES to provide a platform to Flinders’ emerging artists, journalists, and writers, while reflecting and reporting on campus and community news, and other broader social issues.

Your student magazine is a unique opportunity to have your work published, and your artistic work or ideas shared with the community. There are no limits to what you can do - fiction, nonfiction, reporting, reviewing, poetry, photography, digital illustration, concept design, painting, comics, graphic design - EMPIRE TIMES is interested in what you have to show.

Send all work to, or share with us your ideas.

You don’t need to be a professional writer – EMPIRE TIMES accepts any level of experience. If your piece is accepted, you’ll go through a collaborative editing process to ready your piece for publication.
